About the Summit

The Youth Biz Summit was created to provide a unique approach to nurturing and supporting the professional development spirit of youth in underserved communities. This summit focuses on the intersectionality between the criminal justice system, positive youth development and business ventures.

Young Adults in the tri-county areas between the ages of 14-19 years old are invited to participate and engage with professional mentors who will guide them through the realms of avoiding quick and dangerous money-making tactics, proper financial decision making, while also offering opportunities to establish their own relationship with entrepreneurship. At the end of the Summit, students will have the opportunity to create and present their ideas for a chance to receive seed money for their business!
